This is a one-of-a-kind Springfield Armory EMP 4 CCC Customized by the great John Harrison.

This is possibly the best example of an EMP 4 CCC in existence, excepting only others that John Harrison has worked over.

John Harrison is one of the most respected 1911 pistolsmiths in the world; his books are currently closed and are likely to remain that way.

John performed quite a bit of work on this pistol, to the extent that it doesn't look, feel, or shoot like a stock EMP 4.

John replaced the entire ignition set with Harrison and similar tool steel parts, the trigger, front and rear sights, and some additional polish not noted on the invoice.

Talented machinist, Doug Hinderliter, flattened and serrated the top of the slide, added the heavy bevel on the slide, added the French border, and serrated the back of the slide. Doug's machine work is as good if not better than that of many top smiths.

The gun shoots perfectly to point of aim, has been 100% reliable over 200 rounds since the work was done, and is just very pleasant to shoot.

Gun includes six (6) EMP magazines, original hard case and accessories, Harrison invoice and test target.

Note the slight dent in the rear sight and rear checkering depicted in the photos.
