Built on Palmetto State Armory’s large-frame AR platform, this G3-10 is a full-power .308 Winchester semi-automatic rifle built around an 18.00" barrel, free-float handguard, adjustable stock, and modern AR-pattern controls. The configuration combines the reach and authority of the .308 cartridge with the familiar handling, modularity, and straight-line ergonomics of the AR system, while the red-and-black treatment gives the rifle an aggressive custom look that stands well apart from a standard factory-black build.
The rifle uses the familiar direct-impingement gas system paired with a multi-lug rotating bolt, giving the platform the straight-line recoil geometry and modular controls that made the AR family dominant in modern service-rifle development. The 18.00" barrel is capped by a substantial multi-baffle muzzle brake, while the long free-float M-LOK handguard provides generous mounting space without loading the barrel. A full-length Picatinny top rail, backup sights, and adjustable carbine stock give the rifle a highly configurable shooting layout.
The historical importance here is design lineage rather than government provenance. Eugene Stoner’s original AR-10 established the lightweight, direct-gas, rotating-bolt architecture that ultimately shaped the AR-15/M16 family and generations of Western military rifles. Modern large-frame rifles such as PSA’s Gen 3 PA-10 carry that architecture forward in the full-power .308 Winchester/7.62-class envelope, combining battle-rifle chambering with the modularity expected from the contemporary AR system.
