Here is classic Remington hunting iron done the way generations of American sportsmen remember it: a Model 700 ADL chambered in the legendary .30-06 Springfield. The combination of blued steel, walnut furniture, a jeweled bolt, and a 22.00" sporter barrel delivers the traditional look and feel that helped make the Model 700 a fixture in deer camps across the country. Paired with the proven versatility of the .30-06, this is a no-nonsense sporting rifle built around one of Remington’s most enduring hunting platforms.
The Model 700 ADL has earned its reputation through a straightforward, dependable sporting-rifle design that feels right at home in the field. Its 22.00" barrel offers a solid balance between steady handling and practical portability, while the rigid cylindrical receiver and dual opposed locking lugs provide the strong foundation the platform is known for. Topped with a Bushnell Sportview 3.5-10x45, this rifle is well equipped for everything from tighter woods to open-country hunting.
The ADL configuration keeps things clean and purposeful with its internal blind magazine, eliminating a hinged floorplate and preserving the rifle's smooth lower stock profile. Its walnut Monte Carlo-style sporter stock delivers traditional hunting-rifle ergonomics, while the jeweled bolt brings some unmistakable old-school Remington character every time the action is worked. This is a straightforward push-feed bolt rifle built around a formula that earned the Model 700 generations of loyal hunters.
Chambered in .30-06 Springfield, this rifle can take advantage of loads suited to a remarkably broad spectrum of North American hunting. Properly selected hunting ammunition offers the penetration and terminal performance needed for deer-sized game and can extend into elk-class applications with appropriate bullets and shot placement. Practical and ethical shooting distance will always depend on ammunition, conditions, target presentation, and the shooter's demonstrated ability, but the .30-06 has the versatility to cover a lot of country.
This Model 700 ADL brings together the kind of details that keep traditional Remington rifles in demand: walnut furniture, blued steel, a jeweled bolt, and a clean sporting profile that still looks right decades later. The Bushnell Sportview adds useful field-ready versatility without taking away from the rifle’s classic character. For the hunter or Remington enthusiast who appreciates an honest, old-school bolt gun with timeless American styling, this one has the look, the pedigree, and the presence to stand out in any rack.
