Description

John Giles out of Odessa FL was one of the foremost innovators in accurizing and modifying the Government Model Colt. This gun is one of his fabulous Wad Gun builds, wearing his own sight rib. Gun was fully refit front to back, welded up and refit barrel, even a small shim/weld on the barrel feet! 2 Barrel positioners welded in, rails perfectly peened and polished. The front strap bears his great and clean stippling, in his V pattern. The Trigger is nicely tuned and polished, with an overtravel stop and a shoe on it. Clean example that is still tight and right. Gun comes as shown wearing a great set of Herrett cocobolo/rosewood Shooting Stars.
